Old Town Walk Salzburg (and Mirabell Palace and gardens)

We will walk through Salzburg’s old town and take a look at the most important sights from outside: we’ll look at Mozart’s birthplace, the cathedral, old squares and Salzburg’s smallest housе. We’ll walk down a gorgeous, romantic street called Getreidegasse with its unique medieval houses and guilded shop signs. There are also some secrets waiting to be discovered in the beautiful Mirabell Garden.

MOZART-Tour

Where was the most famous composer in the world, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, baptized? Where did he live and work? Who did he love? What pets did he have? Why did he leave Salzburg? How and where did he die? And why did his sister, Maria Anna, not let herself be buried in the family grave? We will find the answers to all these questions.

LEGENDS, Myths and Secrets-Tour

What happens every Good Friday in the festival district? Who is the Wild Man and why is he offended at the citizens of Salzburg? The Unterberg is also a mysterious mountain. Who lives in it? What other legends are there and what is behind them?

We will take a look at modern art: Salzburg has many art objects that can be easily discovered by walking around. What do they symbolize? Why did the artists place these objects just here? What secrets are behind them? Which objects belong together? What is it about the cucumbers opposite the Festival House? Or with the giant head in in the university courtyard?

FORTRESS Hohensalzburg

The Hohensalzburg Fortress is the landmark of the city of Salzburg. It is located on the hill above the city. This is the largest castle complex in Europe.
